Credit Card Comparison – Westpac No Annual Fee vs CBA Low Fee

Following on from our credit card reviews we thought it’d be interesting and useful to write a featured “head to head” credit card comparison series.
Today’s credit card comparison is between the Westpac No Annual Fee and CBA Low Fee credit cards.

Credit card comparison verdict: Neither cards offer an introductory purchases rate and both offer similar purchases interest rates with the CBA Low Fee just edging ahead of the Westpac counterpart. The westpac No Annual fee has, no annual fee where the CBA Low Fee card has a $24 fee for non CBA account holders. Both credit cards have high interest cash advance rates with the CBA again offering the slightly better rate.
In comparing balance transfer offers we see some difference between these two credit cards. While both offer short balance transfer introductory periods CBA offer 5 months while Westpac offer 6 and the Westpac No Annual Fee’s balance transfer is a 2% lower interest rate. CBA Low Fee provides 55 days interest free where the Westpac version offers 0 interest free days
