Credit Card Comparison – ANZ Low Rate vs NAB Standard

Today’s credit card comparison is between the ANZ Low Rate and NAB Standard credit cards.

Credit card comparison verdict: Neither card is offering an introductory purchases rate and both cards offer interest free days NAB Standard up to 44 and the ANZ Low Rate up to 55. Both cards have excellent low annual fee charges of $58 and $30 respectively. Both credit cards have high interest cash advance rates.

In comparing balance transfer offers we see more differences between these two credit cards. Both cards offer a balance transfer introductory period. The ANZ Low Rate offers an excellent 2.9% for 12 months where the NAB Standard offers 4.99% for 6 months.  At the end of the introductory period the ANZ Low Rate will charge customers at the purchases rate (currently 13.49%) for any amount outstanding on the balance transfer while the NAB Standard will treat the amount outstanding as a cash advance and apply the cash advance rate accordingly..
